Eric Morris is a lifelong resident of Haltom City and Tarrant County. Eric grew up in Haltom City and graduated from Haltom High School in Birdville ISD before earning an associate's degree from Tarrant County College. Eric is currently attending Texas A&M University - Commerce where he is pursuing a bachelor's degree.
Eric has lived a life of service to his hometown and Tarrant County. After being tapped to serve on the Planning and Zoning Commission for Haltom City, and the Charter Review Committee, Eric won a seat on the Haltom City Council. While on council, Eric led the charge to bring an H-Mart grocery store and shopping center to the town, which will span 16-acres and is the single largest development in the city's history. He also fought tirelessly for Haltom City residents by advocating for street repairs, lower property taxes, and bringing more businesses to the city.
In May of 2024, Eric Morris was elected to Place 1 of the Tarrant Appraisal District Board of Directors and has dedicated himself to serving you as a top taxpayer advocate on the board. He takes great pride in providing excellent constituent services while also running the organization in a fiscally conservative fashion.
