Dashboard and Online Protest Restored!

We are thrilled to announce the restoration of essential services at the Tarrant Appraisal District following the recent ransomware event. Our team has been diligently working to bring back key functionalities, and we're excited to share these updates with you.

What's Back?

  • Dashboard: Access your dashboard once again to view critical information and manage your account efficiently.
  • Online Protest: The online protest feature is now available, allowing you to submit your protests conveniently from anywhere.
  • Value Negotiation: Engage in value negotiation discussions seamlessly through our restored platform.
  • Online Homestead Application: Easily submit an application for homestead.

Extended Deadlines

To accommodate our users during this recovery phase, we are extending important deadlines:

  • Protest Deadline: The protest deadline is extended until May 24th, providing you with 30 days from today to submit your protests.
  • Business Personal Property Rendition Penalty: Due to the temporary inability to receive online renditions, we are waiving the penalty if received by May 15th.

Commercial Appraisal Notices

For commercial property owners, please note:

  • Notice Mailing: Commercial appraisal notices are expected to be mailed around May 1st.
  • Deadline: The deadline for these notices will be May 31st or 30 days from the mailing date, whichever is later.

Thank you for your understanding during our recovery from the ransomware incident. Please note that our website may exhibit intermittent behavior as we continue our recovery efforts. Our team is actively monitoring and adjusting site performance to ensure smooth operation. If you encounter any slowness or issues, we recommend trying again during off-peak times (before 10:00 am, between 1:00 pm and 3:00 pm, or after 6:00 pm). For persistent problems, please contact us.

We remain dedicated to improving the taxpayer experience even during the challenges of ransomware recovery.
